Awasi Patagonia has built its reputation on a genuinely unusual model for a luxury lodge: every guest is paired with a private guide and vehicle for the length of their stay, turning each day into a fully bespoke itinerary across the reserve rather than a shared group excursion. The lodge sits on a private 7,000-acre property at the edge of Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most dramatic landscapes in Patagonia.
In January 2027, the lodge will add two new Cenit Villas designed by architect Felipe Assadi, expanding its flagship villa category beyond the Standard and Master Villas that make up the rest of the property. Each Cenit Villa runs roughly 180 square meters, considerably larger than the Standard Villa's 90 square meters, giving the lodge a genuine top tier for guests seeking more space.
The expansion isn't limited to Patagonia. Awasi has opened sister lodges in Mendoza, Argentina in 2025 and Santa Catarina, Brazil in 2024, extending the same private-guide model across South America's wine country and Atlantic coastline. Back in Patagonia, the daily rhythm still centers on Chef Natalia Paz's single restaurant, its six-course tasting menu changing daily around ingredients like southern king crab and local lamb, customized directly with guests at the table.
