Amanvari: Aman's First Resort in Mexico Opens in Baja

Aman has arrived in Mexico. Amanvari opened in August 2026 on the East Cape of Baja California, a long-overlooked stretch of coast that is fast becoming one of the country's most coveted, and the brand's first address in the region.

Amanvari sits within Costa Palmas, a 1,500-acre private estate on the East Cape, an hour's drive from Los Cabos airport but a world away from its crowds. The resort is intimate by design: just 18 contemporary casitas, most around 82 square metres, each with a private heated pool and terrace framing views of the Sea of Cortez and the desert mountains behind.

Because it sits within Costa Palmas, Amanvari opens onto far more than its own grounds: organic farms and orchards, three miles of swimmable beach, a deep-water marina, and a private yacht club. Dining spans Luma for Mexican cooking, Sesui for Japanese, Arva for Italian, and The Lounge Bar, the range Aman guests expect even at this intimate scale.
