Amansamar to Bring Aman to Saudi Arabia's Wadi Safar

Amansamar will be Aman's first resort in Saudi Arabia, planned for the Wadi Safar development on the outskirts of Riyadh, close to the UNESCO World Heritage site at Diriyah. With an anticipated opening in 2027, the project marks the brand's entry into one of the world's fastest-growing ultra-luxury markets, so its timeline should be treated as a target rather than a firm date.

The resort is set to comprise 80 guestrooms and 37 branded residences of five and six bedrooms, with an Aman Spa featuring hammam and banya facilities, multiple dining venues, a racquet club, pools, and a kids' club. The name draws on Aman, meaning peace in Sanskrit, and Samar, the Arabic term for gathering to share stories at night, with the resilient acacia tree woven throughout the landscape and design.

Wadi Safar is being developed as a lifestyle destination anchored by its desert setting and proximity to Diriyah's heritage, and Amansamar would give it a signature ultra-luxury resort. It is among the most anticipated projects in the brand's growing Middle East portfolio.
