Amankila, Aman's cliffside resort near Manggis on Bali's quieter east coast, is developing new private residences on the southwest side of the property, adjacent to the existing resort, with all public facilities remaining fully operational during the work. The addition brings ownership to one of the island's most dramatically sited resorts.
The resort's 31 suites, nine with private pools, enjoy ocean or garden views and step down a hillside toward its signature three-tier infinity pool and a Beach Club on a private black-sand beach. Overlooking the Lombok Strait, the property offers a sense of seclusion increasingly rare in southern Bali.
Amankila has also embraced sustainability, becoming the first hotel in Indonesia to use refillable coffee capsules in its suites, supporting Balinese coffee producers with zero waste. The new residences extend its appeal while preserving the serenity of its clifftop setting.
