Book Coworth Park
The Barn occupies a beautifully converted 18th-century stable building at the edge of Coworth Park's polo fields — beams, herringbone brick floors, a wood-burning oven at the centre of the room. It's the less formal counterpart to the Michelin-starred Restaurant, and in some ways the more useful one: the place you come for Saturday lunch after a morning ride, or Sunday morning eggs after a walk around the estate.
The menu is generous and straightforward: flatbreads from the wood-fired oven, a burger made from estate beef, grilled fish with herb butter, and a Sunday roast that draws day visitors from across Berkshire. In summer the terrace faces out to the polo ground, and matches are occasionally played within full view of dining guests.
