The Veranda Restaurant is Villa d'Este's grand lakeside dining room, refined Italian cuisine served beneath chandeliers, with views straight across Lake Como.

In the warmer months, service moves onto the terrace directly above the water, and the kitchen's Italian menu draws on Lombardy's lake and mountain produce in equal measure, lake fish, risotto, and regional cheeses among them. Dinner here, with the lights of the villages across the water coming on as the sky darkens, is one of the classic Lake Como experiences.
