Miami has a new gateway that most travelers will never see from the main terminal. PS, the private terminal company once known as The Private Suite, is now open at Miami International Airport, and it has chosen one of the most storied addresses in American aviation for its home.

PS MIA occupies the former headquarters of Pan American Airways, the airline that once made Miami the gateway between the United States and Latin America. It is a fitting piece of history for a company whose entire purpose is to make the airport feel like something else entirely. Inside, guests flying on ordinary commercial airlines bypass the public terminal, clear private or semi private screening, and are driven across the airfield directly to the door of their aircraft.
