The Guerlain Spa at the Crillon was designed in collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, two floors of treatment rooms, a hammam, and a pool set beneath the hotel's original 18th-century stonework.
Lagerfeld's design leans darker and more architectural than the typical Paris hotel spa, all exposed stone and black marble, which makes the contrast with the pool's warm underwater lighting feel deliberate rather than accidental. Guerlain treatments here go beyond the brand's retail line, including a bespoke facial that blends products on the spot based on the guest's skin that day. The hammam and steam room are generously sized for a hotel spa and can be booked privately for two, a popular choice among couples staying in one of the Crillon's suites. Because the spa sits within a landmark 18th-century building on Place de la Concorde, the architecture alone is worth the visit, treatment or not.
